The nfl will not be the same without vinny testaverde on a team. Any chance he comes out of retirement?
David Carr has screwed everyteam he has been on. Does anyone think Vinny Testaverde could be a ginat next year if Eli gets hurt? He did play better than the 28 year old sensation David Carr last year.
Testaverde isn't Brett Favre. He is done. He played more seasons than Favre did.
Even if he did come back, in no way would he be a Giant. They just drafted Andre Woodson out of Kentucky, and hope to groom him during Eli's prime.
David Carr is not a sensation, unless you use the term literally. He is amazing. I am amazed he has done so little since being drafted so highly. But even Carr would start ahead of Testaverde. Vinny only stuck around these past few years because teams wanted veteran leaders and a smart quarterback to teach their starters and keep their players in a nice group with good camaraderie.
He was a hell of a player at Miami, Fl, and he was a hell of an NFL quarterback.
He was also a Patriot.
