Do bright colors like neon green fade real fast on a tattoo?
this is partially true. but there are alot of factors that decide if and when your tattoo will fade. needle quality, brand, sterilization process, and installation angle. ink quality, ink chemical makeup and how it reacts with your particular pH, melanin content, and thickness. machine quality, upkeep, sterilization, and consistent power supply. artist training, experience, knowledge of tools needed to apply tattoo, and overall containment of cross-contamination. the healing process(how you take care of it for the following THREE weeks), in my opinion is as important as all of the above. lastly, AND I MEAN LASTLY, is the amount of sun you are exposed to. if all of the above has been done right, not by your cousin in his trailor, than the sun will take about ten to fifteen years to wreck your tat enough to need a touch up. this is however taking into consideration your skin complexion. lighter skin= more prone to fading. find an artist that meets the above criteria and wear sunscreen.
