while doing a clear out i found an old (possibly 1937)art book ?????????????????
its approx 14" or 37cms by 10" or 26cms.It has many descriptions filling alternative pages saying such as "MERCY__SAINT BARTHOLOMEWS DAY 1572 and then a description eg "the best artists paint etc ect"then ot will state where the painting is on show eg; "In the tate gallery"
it contains about 30~40 prints.they are genuinely very old and seem very good quality.the book is printed by Cassel and company ltd with descriptive notes by Arthur Ash.is this book worth anything to a museum or a collector?each print is aprox 18cms by 22cms and in colour..some are missing BUT i cant find anything on google about it?does anyone know anything about the book at all? thanks
thanks AS its signed by a woman,cant make out her surname but its "Elizabeth"somebody 1937 ;O)

I think I've heard the name Arthur Ash before, Might be worth something. You can take it to a couple dealers or maybe an art history teacher at a college.
