How: Basement (carpet tiles)?
We just bought our first house and our first project is to finish the basement. Already began, electricity, cable, the walls are in place, but still needs the roof and floor. Do not expect good advice from Lowes. To do this, FIRST - Make sure no water problems. Its easy to do. Take a square foot a heavy transparent plastic. Tape on the floor with tape adhesive. Come back in a week. if there is moisture under the tape, then no carpet until this issue is addressed. Go and ask Handyguys What to do if you really damp. But casting plastic is the wrong approach.
