Should I start Pierre Thomas or Rashard Mendenhall week 4?
It would be nice if I did not have to start either but I have Westbrook and he is injured (day to day). Mendenhall will definitely get more carries but is playing against a strong Baltimore D. Thomas will not have many carries but should see Goal Line opportunities against the Niners. What would you do?
First off, I feel your pain. I've got Westbrook too. Is Buckkhulter available? If not, I'd go with Mendenhall against the stronger D.
I like your reasoning and I totally understand the conflict, but think of it this way. If Pitt makes it to the 10. They arn't gonna throw it to Miller (0 targets in the red zone this year). I'd start Mendenhall over Thomas on the chance that Thomas only gets one touchdown, cause I think Mendenhall can score 8-10 pretty easily (its past that that is the question).
